Scope Construction ended the week with the final session of our latest "Unbox Your Future" programme, welcoming students from Winstanley School on a site visit to Hackamore Way, Oakham, where we are building a new office block.

In partnership with Leicester and Leicestershire Careers Hub the UBYF programme aims to give young people real world experiences and engagement with businesses from all sectors. Colleagues Maz, Patel, Ben Summerton and Glenn Slater were joined by Richard Cooper and Yaroslava Tymofiychuk from HSSP Architects Ltd to give insights into careers in construction and the different pathways into a variety of roles including; architecture, quantity surveying, site management and project management, highlighting their own personal journeys.

Students were also presented with prizes for the Bridge Building Challenge completed in 2025 and treated to a drone demonstration. Overall a rewarding way to close out the week.
